The objective behind the concept of LuK Meister-Service was to strengthen the competitiveness of independent repair shops. The concept was brought into being as early as 1983. The fundamental idea is to improve qualification by supplying high-quality products, training opportunities, technical information, market analysis data, stock management support, warranty services and advertising and marketing activities. Since 1995, the technical hotline for immediate assistance within Germany has been an integral part of the LMS service strategy.

Today, LuK Meister-Service shops in over 10 European countries harness the benefits of this partnership. The tagline “Together we're strong” unites more than 1,500 repair shops throughout Europe. From the outset, the yellow and black LuK Meister-Service sign has been the symbol of a partnership in all matters related to the clutch.

Every LuK Meister-Service (LMS) workshop must fulfill the following requirements:

We support all LMS workshops with our excellence in drive, engine and chassis technology. Besides identifying yourself as LuK Meister-Service shop in all of your business dealings, you can sign up for a variety of special training and further education opportunities. As part of the European training programme, participants become familiar with basic knowledge and failure diagnosis options from our three fields of expertise. Furthermore, we provide individual advice in all matters related to workshop routine. Our service portfolio also includes the provision of special tools and on-site support for difficult repair jobs.
