OAP - Overrunning Alter Pulley

INA is the uncontested market leader as a supplier of overrunning alternator pulleys to vehicle manufacturers worldwide. Ever more state-of-the-art combustion engines are equipped with an OAP to minimise loads on the front-end accessories generated by the crankshaft’s rotational irregularities. To date, 120 million overrunning alternator pulleys were produced for OE use. Both the overrunning alter pulley (OAP) and overrunning alternator decoupler (OAD) are installed instead of rigid belt pulleys used on conventional systems to transmit power from the V-ribbed belt to the alternator. On the occasion of this year’s Frankfurt Automechanika a new short video was produced to highlight in detail the features and benefits of all three pioneering INA products.
